Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize

I know there is a lot going on right now, high unemployment, health care and other things but I wanted to point out something people can not over look. A month back Obama came out and unplugged the missile defense shield program from the Czech Republic and Poland. There was a ton of speculation at the time as to why he did it. People believed he was trying to get cooperation from Russia on Iran. That seemed liked the most likely choice at the time.

Hindsight being 20/20 it now appears he may have had another equally poor if not worse excuse. The committee that gave him the Nobel Peace Prize last week spoke yesterday on their decision as they have been under a great deal of criticism for giving it to someone who lacks any real accomplishments. The reason they gave justifying their decision was interesting and in two parts. First was making nice with Muslims, that’s a whole other topic. The second was much more interesting, they sited the fact that Obama cancelled the Missile Shield program in Poland and the Czech Republic. Now the reason this is so revealing is that he was nominated in January when he first took office. The nominations had to be in by the beginning of February which means he was nominated in 10 days or so, the other thing is he had to know. It stretches belief to think he did not know. If these things are true, we have a real problem here.

Obama stabbed two allies in the back because (A) He was sucking up to Russia, or (B) He wanted the Nobel Peace Prize, take your pick, either is pretty bad. The underlying issue is we stabbed our friends in the back. You just can’t get past that, honor means something. If it was the Russian reason, Obama was slapped down hard yesterday when Hillary Clinton was in Moscow and was told point blank to her face, and it was disclosed to the press, that Russia will not support sanctions on Iran. So much for sucking up to the Russians, Obama the novice gets smacked again. If he was manipulating things trying to get the Nobel Prize, he is more pathetic than I imagined. Obama knew as did anyone who followed the process, the date they would announce a winner. Its kind of funny he won and the reason given was his withdrawal of the missile shield program. Just last year Obama praised Poland and the Czech Republic for in his words making a courageous decision, so what changed? He stated clearly we should support them, yet he pulls the plug why?

If the press was not a bunch of lap dogs they could push for an answer, but don’t hold your breath. What is clear, for whatever reason you choose to assign, loyalty, integrity and honor are not words you can associate with this president.
